1858 Enfield .577 Snider Breech Loading Rifle - ANTIQUE: Mfg 1866-1880's. No SN#, 2nd model MK II * conversion of 1853 Pattern Enfield muzzle loader, uses a boxer cartridge. Right receiver marked: crown / VR / 1858 / Enfield / proof. 33" naval barrel with front & rearsights, brass trigger guard and mounts, brass butt plate marked GT2B on end and 152 on top curve with proof marks. Wood stock has Enfield cartouche on right side. cleaning rod marked 5543. Overall good withtypical wear for age. Includes box of 25 brass shell cases. Antique- please know local laws before bidding.
