This wonderfully pretty divided candy dish is made of glass. This beautiful candy dish has the silhouette of the Crown Tuscan covered dish made by Cambridge; the piece features a lovely divided and handled silhouette, a delightful pink color to the glass, and brilliant hand painted motifs of birds decorating the dish. We believe the base dish may have been made by Cambridge due to its iconic design, however please note there is no makers mark or stamp. We are not certain if the hand painted birds are original to the piece or if someone painted them later, but they lend a great deal of charm to the dish. Please see photos for size/scale, the height is approximately 3 3/4" with lid and the width is approximately 8". The lid does not perfectly align with the dish to make a seal due to the shape, see pictures. There are some small hairline cracks and spots of discoloration, see pictures. The condition of this Candy Dish is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.
