In emulation of "The 8 Views of Omi, this is "The 8 Views of Edo" used as the background of beautiful heroines. Asakusa Temple attracts faithful, some of them use the public worshipping for mere excuse to visit O'Fuje of Yojiya store in Asakusa. O'Fuje is a belle who vied her charm with O'Sen of Kasamori-Inari. Her guest of the moment is a sworded samurai. She is often described as more aristocratic type than the other belle of the wider fame. In the days of Utamaro, it was O'Kita of Naniwaya that resigned supreme.
Outside this, the remaining 7 views are: "Evening Gongs of Ueno", "The Sunset of Ryogoku", "The Homing Wild Ducks at the Sumida", "Autumn Moon of Komagata", "Returning Sailboats on Shinagawa", "The Night Rains of Nihon-Zutsumi" and "Evening View of Snow on Mt. Matsuchi".
