Vintage footed wooden box features a black iron clasp, a gold tassel, and a slightly domed lid. Dating back to the early 20th century, this rustic box is believed to be made from tiger maple and has a stained finish. It has a hinged lid with a metal clasp on the front, which functions tightly and can be used with a lock (lock not included). The dimensions are approximately 13" wide x 9.5" deep x 7.75" high.

Historically, this box was used for storing valuables, weapons, sugar, tea, or as a letterbox. Its wonderfully rustic appearance showcases a beautiful patina found only in vintage pieces.
