A stunning rare vintage First Edition gold-foiled print of the letter Q (from Evangeliarium of the Church of Metz, Quoniam quidem...). Comes from a First Edition art folio of The Letters from Manuscripts of the 8-12 centuries. Printed in 1949 in France by Editions du Chene. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Additional black and white print of letter Q from the folio is included. Excellent condition - never framed.
