This gorgeous plate is stamped on the bottom " Clews Warranted Staffordshire ", the plate is made by Clews, depicting 15 states circa 1792 with state border: New York, Delaware, Virginia, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Carolina, Carolina, Georgia, Vermont, Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland; impressed mark on the back of the plate. The cobalt blue provides lovely contrast to the white accent. Please see photos for size/scale; height=1" diameter=8.75" approx.
