Description

Rex Ray was a German-born American artist, whose artistic career began in San Francisco when he attended San Francisco Art Institute. Ray created album covers for musicians such as David Bowie, U-2, Talking Heads, The Residents, and more. Luminous (2010) features glowing, flame-like shapes that suggest energy and transformation. The pigment print on Hahnem+-APw-hle paper ensures sharp detail and rich tonal saturation. Measuring 30 by 22 inches and presented unframed, the work is part of a limited edition of 25, this piece being number 3/25. The composition reflects Ray+-IBk-s signature blend of organic imagery and graphic precision. The artwork is signed and in very good condition, with clean paper and excellent color retention.
