He draws imaginary place names from a deep well of spiritual symbolism, and has stated that since his paintings depict imaginary scenes, he makes up imaginary titles for them as well. Uttech's reverence for the natural world and its animal inhabitants is obvious in his artworks, lending a sense of mystical stillness and magic to the viewer.
