Description:The brush drawings are executed in a style typical for that of Watanabe Nangaku (1767 - 1815), initiator of the shijo painting style who, by the end of the 18th and early 19th century seems to have influenced some of the most renowned shijo artists, like Oishi Chinnen, Nanrei or Bunichi. - Former H. Beres collection, Paris. Very RARE.
