Early 10kt & G.F. Watch Chain with Bar & Swivel Signed F, 12.75". This is likely a repurposed watch chain with an older twisted bar and swivel that do test (repeated tests) as 10kt solid gold as well as the 1.5" length of heavy oval links attached to the bar. The main chain tests as 10kt gold filled. The appx. weight of the parts testing as 10kt solid is 6.20 gr. Entire watch chain is appx. 12.53 gr. The twisted rope chain is appx. 3mm. The Swivel is signed F on one side and is appx . 7/8". The twisted bar is slightly over 1.5" long and 3.5mm wide. The gold oval chain link is appx. 4mm wide. Certainly this too could be repurposed to claim the 10kt gold swivel and bar. The swivel and bar have appeared available in different sites over 250.00 per piece - here they are grouped as a set.
