Vintage Sterling Vermeil Ruby/Blue Topaz Ring, Farrah Fawcett Signed, 1990's, Sz. 6.75. Marked .925, sterling with 14kt vermeil finish. Quite the statement ring. This has a blue stone that tests as blue topaz and the red as ruby. The stones are lab created - not glass but gems grown in crystals in the lab that make them a perfect cut with clear stones and the same properties as the natural stone - just grown in a lab into crystals that are cut into the desired shapes and sizes. The blue topaz is appx. 8.8mm wide and 5.8mm tall. The red rubies are set in a row down each side. There are five square stones that are appx. 1.8mm to 2mm - channel set. This does test as sterling with an appx. weight of 8.36 grams. The prong holding the topaz are silver as is the setting on each upper side of the band that holds three clear cz stones that are appx. 1.2mm wide. The ring top is set like the shape of macaroni with the blue stone rising up from the bowed design. It is appx. 13mm down the finger and 19mm across the top of the finger. It has a column-like arched design on the sides that eventually tapers down to appx. 4.5mm at the back of the finger. It is signed with a larger F then smaller f for the Farrah Fawcett maker's mark.
