Vintage 12kt G.F. Hinged Engraved Bangle Bracelet, 1950's, Signed with a star maker's mark. It is appx. 1/2" wide with engraved initials M.A.P and leaves on the front and an outline on each edge around the bracelet. The inside measurement of the bracelet is appx. 2-3/8" from side-to-side and 2.25" from front-to-back. Best for a more slender wrist that is under 6.75" so it has movement when more. It has a clasp that does work with a safety chain. On the inside it is engraved "Cornell University and on the second Line June 13, 1955). Weight of the bracelet is appx. 23.38 grams. Good vintage condition. It is basically a seventy-year old bracelet. The jump rping on one side of the chain connecting the safety chain to the bracelet is larger than on the other. This is in very good vintage condition with some expected wear. There areno dings or dents. It is signed at the hinge with the star maker's mark and 12kt 1/20 on the other side of the hinge. When clicking the bracelet in - be sure to use the top space that is built-in to the bracelet and not the lower space as that is just the frame of the bracelet. I mention it because it clicks easily on the top space but if you don't realize that lower space will allow you to slip partway into it - you think the clasp isn't working but it is just in the wrong slot. the finish on this is good - you do not see finish wear on top exposing base metal.
