Vintage Vermeil Blue Topaz Earrings, CZ's, Pierced, 1980's-1990's. Marked .925. These have a light blue topaz, likely lab created, that are appx 8mm by 5mm set with a sterling vermeil band over the top and bottom, holding the stone. They have clear czs set across that band. The earrings are appx. 5/8" long and 1/3" wide. The blue topaz is featured in the center framed by those two cz bands. The earrings are marked sterling and are a vermeil with gold over. They are marked China as well, and either have an M or a 3. When they are marked China, it always raises questions. These have a better weight and design than many - and I do encounter nice China pieces. My hunch is that they are all plated and not sterling but they are a nice costume pair of earrings. Weight of the earrings is appx. 3.42 gr. They look unworn. Very good condition and very pretty in an art deco-ish theme.
