Vintage Cortland AO Early 1900's Eye Glasses in Case, 10kt G.F. They have stamped designs around the frame of the eye pieces and bridge of nose. They are marked AO and Corland on the bottom of the nose piece. They do have some wear on the bottom of the left frame under the eye but not really visible unless holding and looking at them. The celluloid coating on the ear pieces is cracked which is typical of this age. They also have bifocals. They come in their original case from W.S. Wentzel, M.D., Sunbury, PA, black velvet lined hinged black case. trhey measure 4.75 from hinge-to-hinge and 4" to the curve on the side pieces. The lenses themselves are appx. 43.2mm. Great for theatre, props or repurpose. Came from A PA estate. (INV. W.92620.1X1 SS4544 J LD 4/28/21).
