Description:Vintage 10kt Pink Sapphire Star Cut Stone Ring, Sz. 8.5, Signed, 1980's. This is signed with either a backward ET or 3T. It is marked 10kt and tests as 10kt. It is white gold with an appx. weight of 5.03 grams. There are five clear stones between the points of the star - they do not test as diamonds but as white topaz - one stone was missing and having no topaz, was replaced with a glass stone. Those stones are small and appx. 1mm. The star is pointed at top center and it is appx. 13mm. It is likely a lab grown pink sapphire - it is not glass or crystal but tests on a Presidium tester. Look at the ring from behind and in front, it has an open bridged undercarriage below the setting and at the top fo the band with ray-like prongs that hld the stone and accent the stone. The band is appx. 2.5mm wide with a ridge down the center at top and tapers to appx. 1.8mm at the bck of the finger. Pretty ring - a bit unique. A jeweler could look at those smaller stones as some of those prongs are worn. Other than that the ring is nice and in good condition. (WPS71525.5X SS16507 J LD 9/8/25).
