Description:Antique 9kt Roman/Greek Cameo Brooch with Safety Chain, 1800's, Signed H & N. The brook is marked with what looks like H & N with the rop right of the N worn - could be K. It is also marked 9 CI. It tests as 9kt with an appx. weight of 8.42 grams which includes the carved cameo which has a very light tan background and whiter body and clothing with great detail in the hat and clothing. This looks like a male. It has a scrolled frame and sawtooth bezel-setting. It is slightly over 1.5" tall and 1.25" wide. It has a c-clasp inback and the pin extends well beyond the frame of the brooch. It also has a safety chain that is nearly 4" long and the chain and the pin test as 9kt as well. It is in very good condition. (W81429.11X SS16632 J LD 9/9/25),
