Title: Oil painting The comfort of rural silence Oleksandr Gukalov Description: NoAAA5562 The Oil painting Canvas titled "The comfort of rural silence" radiates a sense of calmness, stillness, and timeless simplicity, capturing the soul of the countryside in its purest and most intimate form. The composition is built upon the presence of two modest rural houses, standing side by side as quiet guardians of tradition and daily life. Their whitewashed walls reflect the simplicity of existence, devoid of unnecessary adornments, while their humble forms suggest a deep connection to nature and the earth. They stand not as monuments, but as symbols of warmth, shelter, and constancy, embodying the very idea of comfort that rural silence provides. The surrounding nature breathes life into the scene. A lush expanse of greenery spreads across the foreground, painted in rich, thick strokes of deep and bright greens that reveal the artist's mastery of texture. The grass seems almost tangible, inviting the viewer to imagine its coolness underfoot or the faint rustling in the breeze. This verdant carpet stretches toward a reflective body of water, where trees and houses appear mirrored in the rippling surface, softening the sharpness of reality and adding a dreamlike quality to the composition. The water becomes a secondary world, echoing the tranquility above, as if silence itself finds its reflection there. The trees, tall and graceful, rise like sentinels around the houses. Their leaves painted with bold and layered brushstrokes suggest both strength and movement, as if they whisper their ancient stories into the air. Some trees glow with warm tones of orange and brown, hinting at the arrival of autumn, while others retain their deep greens, embodying resilience and continuity. Their presence emphasizes the rhythm of rural life that flows with the seasons, unhurried and eternal. Above, the sky stretches wide, heavy with layered clouds painted in muted grays, blues, and whites. The artist's brushwork here creates an impression of vastness, of skies that can stretch endlessly over fields and hills. The clouds appear restless, in motion, but not threatening-rather, they carry with them the weight of silence, enveloping the landscape in a veil of calmness that is both contemplative and protective. The subtle blue of the horizon peeks through the cloud masses, offering a quiet balance between heaviness and light.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "The comfort of rural silence"* ARTISTS: Oleksandr Gukalov* SIZE: 30x40 cm/11.81x15.74 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artists: Alexander GukalovAfter graduating from Lviv Polytechnic, he was engaged in scientific work.
