Title: Oil painting On the autumn river Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4485The painting "On the Autumn River" immerses the viewer in a landscape that exudes the essence of fall-a season of warmth, transition, and quiet reflection. The artist's use of impasto technique creates an expressive texture, where each stroke of paint adds depth and movement to the composition. The river, central to the scene, reflects the golden and earthy hues of the season, merging with the rustic tones of the land. The warm ochres, deep browns, and flashes of crimson and yellow in the background suggest that autumn is in full bloom, with trees shedding their leaves in preparation for winter. A group of trees stands tall in the background, their silhouettes forming a rhythmic pattern against a muted sky. The artist's brushwork captures the rawness of nature-branches stretch upwards, some bare, others clinging to the last remnants of foliage. Their reflections in the water add a sense of depth and tranquility, as if time has slowed down, allowing nature to showcase its final burst of color before the arrival of colder days. The blending of reds and purples in the distance creates a hazy, nostalgic atmosphere, reinforcing the mood of a season that is both vibrant and fleeting. The focal point of the painting is a small wooden bridge, weathered and uneven, stretching across the river. This rustic bridge, painted in earthy browns and golden highlights, leads the eye toward two figures standing upon it. Dressed in shades of blue and pink, these figures provide a striking contrast to the surrounding landscape. Their presence adds a human element to the composition, evoking curiosity about their journey-perhaps they are villagers on their way home, or simply friends pausing to admire the beauty of the season. The looseness of the brushstrokes gives them a sense of movement, as if they are engaged in quiet conversation or lost in thought. The ground beneath the bridge is rich in color and texture, with thick layers of paint creating an almost three-dimensional effect. The path leading to the bridge is filled with golden highlights, suggesting fallen leaves and dry grasses, while the artist's intricate detailing of the riverbank adds a raw, natural quality. Hints of blue and green in the water provide contrast to the warm palette, bringing balance to the composition.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "On the autumn river"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/'5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, cardboard* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.About the artists: Kalenyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
