About the artists: Ukrainian painter.
Mikhail Polikarpovich Voloshin was born on November 4, 1914 in the village of Lozovatka, Pyatikhatsky District, Dnepropetrovsk Region.
He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art School.
From 1936 to 1937 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Novosibirsk Civil Engineering Institute.
In 1949 he joined the Zaporozhye Association of Artists and the regional organization of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.
Since the 1940s, Voloshin M.P. - participant of regional, republican, all-union and foreign art exhibitions.
MP Voloshin is an artist of a wide creative range: historical paintings on themes of ancient Russia and the Zaporozhye Cossacks, genre compositions, industrial and city landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
The painter's works are presented in museum, gallery and private collections.
