About the artist: Born on January 10, 1936, in the town of Snigirevka. Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art School. Teachers by profession: V. Shatalin, V. Kostetsky, L. Vitkovsky. Painter. Author of genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes. Participant of republican, all-union and international art exhibitions. Major works: "Birds" (1967), "Ways-Roads" (1971), "Visiting Grandfather" (1973), "Winter" (1974), "Son" (1974; 1989), "Kiev and Kievites" (1975), "The War Years" (1975; 1981), "Fishing Launches", "Winter Day" (both 1980), "Launches" (1983), "Summer's End" (1984), "Looking for a Path to Jesus" ( 1991), "Glebov's Gazebo" (2001), "Spring" (2002), "Oak" (2007). Lived and worked in the city of Kiev.
