About the artists: Ukrainian painter and graphic artist, master of decorative art.
Ivan Kirillovich Tsyupka was born in 1926 in a village of Pogreby, Romny district, Sumy region, in a peasant family.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded orders and medals.
He taught fine art at Romny Secondary School No. 1.
Tsyupka I.K. worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. Master of decorative art, landscape and still life.
The constant participant of regional, regional, republican and all-union art exhibitions.
In the early 1960s, Ivan Tsyupka met Tatyana Nilovna Yablonskaya, who became for him a senior friend and mentor, having a great influence on the artist's work.
Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Romny (1986, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006), Nedrigailov (1996), the native village of Pogreby (2001), Kiev (2002, 2003).
Member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine since 2003.
Artworks I.K. The chains are presented at the State Museum of Decorative Ukrainian Art, Sumy Regional Art Museum, Romensky Museum of Local Lore, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
