Vintage Sterling Rutilated Quartz Ring, Sz. 8, Appx. 10+ TCW, Signed McM. This has gold round accents on each side of the stone on the top of the band. They test positive as 10kt. Mod design with textured wide band and long prongs, four singles on the corners and a pair of double prongs on the sides. The band is appx. 9mm att op and widens slightly to 10mm and then tapers to appx. 4mm at the back of the finger. The top of the quartz sits up appx. 11mm from the finger. The quartz is clear with strands of what looks like straw inside the stone. The quartz stone is appx 16mm by 12mm oval and is quite deep at appx. 10mm. Exact measurements on depth are difficult due to setting. Age is estimated at 1960's-1970's. Very good condition. Quite the statement ring. (W92422/1X2 SS8852 J LD 11/16/22).
