Vintage Sterling Southwestern Roadrunner Brooch, 2.5" wide and 1.25" from the highest to lowest point on the roadrunner. This has a raised turquoise sawtooth bezel set on the shoulder area and as the eye. The turquoise nuggets are apx. 7mm on the shoulder and 4mm at the end, that measurement includes the bezel. engraved details for feathers and tail and the comb on the head as well as the beak and feet. It is nicely made. Marked sterling, tested, with a weight of appx. 5.40 gr. Age is estimated 1960's-1980's. Not signed by the maker. Locking clasp on the pin.
