Vintage Silver Plated Mechanical Pencil Pendant 4.25". The pencil works and has a decoratibe top with heavy jump ring to attach to a chain. These were popular mid-century and earlier for shopkeepers to use. This is marked silver plated and patented. There is an engraved Pal or Pat off to the side of the marking. The pencil is appx. 7.5mm to 10.5mm as you move up from the point to the top. The main body of the pencil does have a textured subtle ridge design. The age of this pencil is estimated at 1930's-1940's. It would benefit from polishing which would bring out the detail . It still has lead in it and it writes perfectly. The top unscrews to expose the mechanism that holds the lead for reloading. This is in good to very good condition for it's age Polishing it would restore it to fully very good condition.
