Vintage Sterling Carnelian Crystal, Blue Spinel Necklace 24", 1980's-1990's. The pendant is 1.75" long from the top of the sterling bail to the point of the carnelian crustal. It is appx. 1/2" at the blue spinel which is the widest point. The blue stone tests as spinel and is 4mm long and 2.5mm wideoval that is prong set with bead accents on top and bottom of the blue spinel. the chain is a herrinbone link that is appx. 1.5mm wide, spring clasp and is signed Voir, .925, Italy. All sterling tested and test as sterling. weight of the entire necklace is appx. 13.65 gr.The pendant is also marked .925. The pendant with the carnelian crystal and blue spinel is a little more unusual than many crystals you see. Carnelian is to promote energy, empowerment, confidence and creativity too. The chain is 24" and is in good conidtion with some oxidation that will polish away.The type of link it is, when it is not worn it will fold back on itself but you gently reposition it and it will lay flat.
