Title: Oil painting Pink sunset over the village Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5574The Oil painting Canvas titled “Pink sunset over the village” depicts a vivid and nostalgic scene of rural life, where tradition, memory, and the warmth of home are brought to life with bold strokes and an expressive palette. The composition centers around a large whitewashed house with a steep roof, accompanied by an adjoining structure, both standing as solid symbols of the village’s resilience and timelessness. These houses, painted with textured layers of whites, browns, and purples, carry the marks of age, yet exude dignity, anchoring the viewer in the heart of a peaceful countryside. The sky is rendered in shades of soft pink, lavender, and muted peach, suggesting the gentle transition of time—perhaps late afternoon, when the light mellows into evening, or a quiet dawn when the village begins to stir. This choice of colors lends the scene a dreamlike quality, as though the landscape itself is wrapped in memory or longing. Against this pastel-toned backdrop, the earthy browns of the rooftops and the lush greens of the surrounding foliage create a striking balance, grounding the ethereal sky with the weight of lived reality. In the foreground, a figure emerges—a villager, clad in earthy tones of orange and brown with a hint of turquoise on their headscarf, engaged in daily chores. The presence of this solitary figure brings life and human warmth to the scene. It emphasizes the deep connection between the people and their land, between individual existence and the timeless rhythm of rural life. Around them, patches of bright red appear, possibly chickens or autumn leaves scattered across the grass, infusing the painting with dynamic movement and warmth. These details, though small, capture the vitality of the village, reminding us that even in simplicity, life thrives. The foreground is further enriched by the rustic wooden fence, painted with thick, expressive strokes of red and brown. This fence not only guides the eye into the composition but also symbolizes the intimate boundary of home, a protective embrace around the family dwelling. Its rough, imperfect lines mirror the authenticity of village life, where beauty lies in the handmade, the practical, and the enduring.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Pink sunset over the village"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
