Title: Oil painting On the edge of the village Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5629The Oil painting Canvas titled “On the edge of the village” captures a serene and timeless moment where nature and human habitation coexist in perfect harmony. This composition, rich in color and texture, transports the viewer to a rural scene where a small village nestles quietly among trees, fields, and open skies. The artist’s expressive brushwork and bold palette transform what might otherwise be an ordinary village setting into a vivid celebration of life, memory, and atmosphere. In the center of the composition, framed by the towering trees in the foreground, stands a humble cluster of village houses. Their whitewashed walls and warm brown roofs shine softly against the lush greenery that surrounds them. The houses, modest in form, evoke a sense of simplicity and tradition, reminding us of a slower, quieter way of life. The structures seem partially obscured by the foliage, as though they are seamlessly blending into their natural environment. This merging of home and nature suggests an intimacy between humans and the land, a relationship nurtured across generations. The trees themselves dominate the canvas, painted with broad, energetic strokes of green, blue, and orange. Their trunks stand firmly, rising upward with expressive lines that emphasize both their strength and their movement. The leaves, painted in varying shades of green accented with patches of pink and purple, catch the light in a way that conveys both density and delicacy. These trees act as guardians of the village, shielding it from the outside world while also framing it as a sanctuary. Their forms also lend the painting a rhythm, as if the trees themselves sway with the breeze and participate in the life of the village. The foreground is filled with an array of colors—orange, blue, violet, and earthy browns—applied in thick layers that bring a tactile dimension to the canvas. These vibrant tones suggest a lively field where grasses, soil, and scattered flowers intermingle, their textures captured by the impasto technique. The painter’s strokes here are both deliberate and spontaneous, evoking the rugged yet beautiful irregularity of nature. The ground feels alive, echoing the footsteps of those who have walked this path countless times.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "On the edge of the village"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
