Title: Oil painting The sun greets in the morning Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5637The Oil painting Canvas titled “The sun greets in the morning” is a vivid and radiant celebration of the awakening day, capturing the exact moment when the first rays of sunlight pour across a quiet village and illuminate its architecture, trees, and surrounding landscape. With bold strokes and a palette dominated by glowing yellows, rich blues, and fiery reds, the artist has created a scene that is as much about atmosphere as it is about place. The composition radiates energy, yet at the same time conveys tranquility, as if the viewer is standing at the threshold of a new day, watching the world slowly come alive. At the center of the work, a church with its distinctive dome rises gracefully above the rooftops, painted in soft shades of turquoise, lilac, and blue. Its silhouette, dignified and commanding, suggests both spirituality and the enduring traditions of the community. The building glows with morning light, as the sun’s brilliance floods the canvas from behind, turning the sky into an electrifying field of luminous yellow. This choice of color is not subtle—it is bold, purposeful, and symbolic, representing both the literal power of the sun and its figurative role as a bringer of life and hope. Around the church, village houses huddle close together, their roofs rendered in fiery oranges and reds. These warmer tones harmonize with the brightness of the sky, contrasting against the cooler shades of shadow that dominate the lower part of the painting. The rooftops catch the morning glow, their sharp planes and thick brushstrokes making them appear almost molten in the light. The artist’s textured approach adds a tactile sense of realism, reminding us that these homes are not just structures but shelters filled with lives and histories, now gently waking under the sun’s watchful gaze. Trees flank the scene, painted with strokes of green, crimson, and deep umber, their crowns touched with yellow where the sunlight filters through. They serve as natural guardians of the village, anchoring the composition and adding depth. The trees also act as a bridge between the glowing sky and the darker, cooler earth below, their colors shifting to reflect the interplay of shadow and illumination that defines this early morning moment.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "The sun greets in the morning"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
