Title: Oil painting Village after the rain Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5666The Oil painting Canvas titled “Village after the rain” immerses the viewer into a serene yet vibrant moment of rural life, captured in the aftermath of a refreshing downpour. With bold impasto strokes and an expressive palette, the artist conveys not only the physical transformation of the landscape caused by rain but also the renewed energy and clarity that nature exudes when the storm subsides. The painting vibrates with an atmosphere of renewal, where wet roofs, glistening pathways, and lush vegetation reveal the village as a living, breathing organism. At the center of the composition lies the village, its modest houses topped with warm terracotta-red roofs that seem to glow against the surrounding tones of violet, green, and ochre. The rain has left the roofs shining, adding texture and dimension as the light dances on their surfaces. These houses, nestled into the protective embrace of surrounding hills and trees, form the heart of the village, a place where human life continues to thrive in harmony with nature. The walls of the houses reflect shades of lavender, deep blue, and pale gray, echoing the moisture and shadows left by passing clouds. The foreground captures the village path, rendered in rich strokes of purples and blues, suggestive of puddles and rain-soaked ground. The impasto technique creates an almost tactile sense of the damp earth, its surface uneven and reflecting fragments of the surrounding world. Small groups of villagers can be seen along this path, their figures simplified yet expressive, painted in dark tones with touches of orange, red, and blue. They appear to be gathering, conversing, or simply resuming their daily routines after the cleansing rainfall. This human presence introduces warmth into the scene, underscoring the resilience and continuity of life despite nature’s unpredictability. Animals, particularly cows painted in tones of white, brown, and violet, dot the village landscape. Their presence conveys calmness, as they return to graze after the rainfall, embodying the peaceful rhythm of rural life. The cows, together with the figures, are integral to the story of the painting, linking humanity and nature in a quiet coexistence.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Village after the rain"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
