Title: Oil painting Village festive day Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5784The Oil painting Canvas titled "Village festive day" radiates a vivid atmosphere of joy, unity, and tradition, immersing the viewer in a moment of rural celebration. This artwork, created with thick, textured strokes of oil paint, captures not only the physical scene of a village gathering but also the emotional resonance of communal life, where color, form, and rhythm intertwine to convey festivity and cultural vibrancy. At first glance, the canvas dazzles with its kaleidoscopic use of color. The bright palette of greens, pinks, blues, yellows, and reds fills the surface with a sense of movement and energy, echoing the bustling activity of the villagers. In the foreground, figures dressed in colorful clothing are depicted in loose, impressionistic strokes. They gather in groups, likely engaged in conversations, games, or preparations for the day’s festivities. Their garments, splashes of red, blue, and purple, create visual anchors that immediately draw the eye and emphasize the celebratory mood of the occasion. The central and middle portions of the painting feature more figures, blending into the warm hues of the landscape. These people, depicted through expressive daubs of paint, create a rhythm of shapes and gestures that evoke the dynamism of a festive crowd. Though their faces are not detailed, their presence is palpable, embodying the collective spirit of the village. The artist’s use of impasto allows the figures to merge seamlessly with their environment, emphasizing harmony between human life and nature. In the background, a striking architectural feature emerges—the domed golden roof of a church or chapel rising above the houses and trees. This detail adds a spiritual dimension to the scene, hinting that the celebration may be tied to a religious or cultural holiday. The shimmering gold dome, glowing against the sky, becomes a focal point, symbolizing faith, continuity, and the shared values of the community. Surrounding the dome, clusters of houses with red and ochre roofs extend across the landscape, reinforcing the sense of a tightly-knit rural settlement.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Village festive day"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
