Title: Oil painting Evening sunflowers Oksana Ivanyuk Description: No.AAA5793The Oil painting Canvas titled "Evening sunflowers" is a radiant and expressive work that embodies the timeless beauty of rural life and the natural splendor of a summer evening. At the heart of this composition are tall, vibrant sunflowers, their golden-yellow petals catching the last rays of daylight, glowing warmly against the rustic background of a thatched-roof village house. The artist employs bold, impasto brushstrokes, giving the flowers a sense of vitality and movement, as if they are gently swaying in the evening breeze, their large heads turned toward the fading light of the sun. The thatched house in the background stands as a symbol of tradition and simplicity, its earthy tones harmonizing with the surrounding greenery and golden blossoms. The windows, painted in cool shades of blue and turquoise, create a striking contrast to the fiery warmth of the sunflowers, suggesting a calm, cooling shade within the home while the outside world is bathed in the richness of sunset colors. The thick strokes of straw on the roof emphasize both texture and age, adding depth and authenticity to the rural scene. The sunflowers themselves dominate the foreground, filling it with an energy that speaks of growth, resilience, and abundance. Their petals are rendered in a palette of yellows, oranges, and hints of red, layered with dense strokes that capture the tactile quality of each bloom. The deep green leaves and stalks frame the flowers with solidity, grounding their exuberant beauty in the rich soil of the countryside. Each flower seems to possess its own character: some open wide and proud, others bow their heavy heads as if in contemplation, reflecting the cycle of life and the passage of time. The background sky deepens into shades of indigo and violet, suggesting the approaching twilight. The juxtaposition of the dark, cool evening tones with the brilliance of the sunflowers enhances the emotional impact of the painting. It is as though the flowers themselves hold onto the last embers of the sun, radiating its light even as night begins to fall. This interplay between day and night, light and shadow, warmth and coolness gives the work a dynamic tension, making the viewer feel the fleeting, bittersweet beauty of the moment.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Evening sunflowers"* ARTIST: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
