About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Was born in Kiev in 1928. In 1949 he graduated from the Kiev School of Applied Arts, in 1967 - from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under I. Shtilman, V. Puzyrkov, S. Podervyansky. Participant of republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1970. Lived and worked in Kiev. Took part in the creation of dioramas. Author of thematic paintings, landscapes, portraits and still lifes. The works are kept in art museums in Ukraine, private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Canada, Israel and France.
