ANCIENT VIKING COIL RING C.850-1050 AD SIZE 10 ¼

Description

Gold over bronze. Two and 2/3 turns, size 10 1/4. Low medial ridge, probably more prominent when new, now somewhat worn from use and burial. Made by the lost-wax process, coil beads, rings, and other adornment elements were very popular in Viking culture. Due to its age, resizing is not advised. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
