Description

Bronze, size 10 3/4 with 2.0mm rounded face band, flared to the shoulders. Raised oval bezel with hand-inscribed cluster of runes. Probably a signet used to seal the owner's name. Vikings used runic and Latin alphabets, the later particularly in sword inlays and inscriptions. Textured from burial with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
