Description

Danelaw England. Copper rich bronze, size 10 3/4, 6.1mm width rounded face band. Made with a core filling the inside which distributed the flowing metal and allowed for slower cooling. The core was then laboriously removed by hand and the inside of the ring polished. Remnants of the core are clear inside the ring. As found condition with rich glossy patina. Clear-coated to facilitate modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
