The blade is unsigned (mumei) but has been judged as a work of the Echizen Seki school and is accompanied by an NTHK certification paper.
This rare sword features a kanmuri-otoshi-zukuri blade shape with a distinct hamon and good hada texture.
The wakizashi is presented in an elaborate, old koshirae with excellent parts. As an antique made hundreds of years ago, it shows signs of its age.
