About the artist: Born on January 29, 1922 in the village of V. Dobrintsy (now the Volgograd region). Graduated from the Saratov Art School (1942) and the Kiev Art Institute (1951). Teachers by profession - O. Shovkunenko, T. Yablonskaya. Member of the CPSU. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "On the embankment on a day off" (1953); "In Uzhgorod" (1957); "Under construction" (I960); "Ilyich's Lamp" and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1954.
