About the artist: Ukrainian painter.
Lyubavin Yuri Mikhailovich was born on June 6, 1923 in Kharkov.
From 1940 to 1950 studied at an art studio at the Kharkov factory of art products, where his teachers were S. Besedin and L. Chernov.
The author of still lifes, landscapes, genre works.
Since 1957 the artist has been participating in regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions
Since 1960 Lyubavin Yu.M. - Member of the Kharkov organization of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 1976, the painter for his contribution to the development of culture was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit".
For the canvases "Spring" (1965), "After work" (1967), "In the days of the revolution" (1967), "Mechanizers" (1970) and "Portrait of a fitter-assembler of the Kharkov Tractor Plant Bondarenko" (1973) was awarded the Lenin Prize Komsomol.
The artist's works are kept in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
