on ebonised bun feet, and metal mounts and florette escutcheons, the top section with a single drawer and cupboard door enclosing a single shelf and single drawer

Provenance:

Prince Axel of Denmark (1888-1964), located in the Retiring Room in the Prince's Office in the Bernstorff Palace, Gentofte, Denmark; thence by descent to his grandson Birger Valdemar Georg Flemming Kai Axel, Count of Rosenborg

Condition Report:

One or more of the feet replaced and cosmetic restoration. The top door is slightly warped and does not sit flush at the top. Key to the top section provided. Stable on a flat surface. Knocks and minor srcatches to the surface.
