Most of the plates used for this atlas were original engraved for the SDUK atlas in the mid nineteenth century. The plates were later sold to Thomas Letts, and subsequently to Mason & Payne. Published 1892. Antique colour atlas map. Size 36 x 41 cm | 14.0 x 16.0 inches. Condition: Good; suitable for framing. Tight top margin; The image shown may have been taken from a different example of this map than that which is offered for sale. The map you will receive is in good condition but there may be minor variations in the condition from that shown in the image. The map has been printed close to the gutter (top) edge of the sheet; there are pinholes along the top edge of the map in the margin and across the top of the title where it was bound in. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is plain.
