3 Daguerreotypes, comprising a 2 3/4 in. x 2 1/4 by sight daguerreotype depicting a young boy and girl, marked 'Williamson, Brooklyn' on gilt surround, with handwritten note in case 'Aunt Sallie and Papa, They were the youngest of 12 children!, written by Susan Mafan, my aunt, therefore papa would refer to Peter K. my grandfather - Arthur B. Kouwenhoven'; a 2 1/2 in. x 2 in. by sight daguerreotype of a young soldier; and a 2 5/8 in. x 2 1/4 in. daguerreotype of a seated young girl, with hand written note 'Aunt Sallie's oldest sister, aunt Rebecca Williamson, she owned the house on Hubbard Pl., written by Susan B Magan, Aunt of Arthur B. Kouwenhoven, Aunt Sallie was Sarah Dubois K., My great Aunt - Arthur B. Kouwenhoven', each in lidded cases with gilt metal surrounds and silk/velvet fabric interior.

Measurements: Height: of largest case 3 5/8 in. x Width: 3 1/8 in. x Depth: 5/8 in.

Overall fair condition, cases worn with losses, wear and fading to velvet and silk interiors, minor pitting to gilt surrounds, lid separated fully on the soldiers case, the other partially separated, spotting and fading to portrait of the seated girl and the two young children.
