Gould-Type Simple Microscope, Unsigned, C. 1840, microscope in wood case, mounts on top of case and disassembles for stowage.

Measurements: Height: of case 2 in. x Width: 6 1/2 in. x Depth: 4 3/4 in.

Condition

Overall good vintage condition, old marks and scratches, pitting to metal, one of four 'button' objective lens has uneven threads and will not mount to the other 3 'button' objectives, yoke on small stage mount bullseye condenser is broken in half, mirror present and in good shape.
