This elegant piece features double boar-head handles and finely painted floral garlands, bamboo stems, and armorial crest panels in vibrant famille rose and enamel tones. Commissioned by wealthy families, maritime merchants, and noble houses, these wares often bore coats of arms, crests, or symbolic imagery. The domed lid is toped with a sculptural finial painted in warm orange-gilt hues. The tureen rests on its original shaped underplate. Armorial porcelain was among the most desirable luxury goods exported from China to Europe and America.
