Add a touch of elegance to the table with this 1940's Sheffield Silver Plate Silent Butler! This Butler was made to discreetly remove crumbs from the table. The Table Crumber has a hidden Lucite Brush with nylon bristles that is stored in the base and can be used to sweep the crumbs into the Butler.

This Box is electroplated silver over copper and has a long wooden handle. It can be used by opening the top by one hand with the aid of the raised thumb piece. The Butler has some wear and patina loss as well as minor scratches as seen in the photos.

The lid shows an engraving of a mythical animal which is part horse and part dragon. The handle can be removed for easy cleaning and storage.

The Butler measures 10 1/2"Length with the handle. The Bowl measures 6"Wide x 3 1/2"Tall.

The Butler weighs 18.26 ounces or 517 grams.
