The collection consists of one Gold Edition set layered in 24k gold, one Platinum Edition set layered in pure platinum, one Philadelphia Mint Edition featuring P mint marks, and one Denver Mint Edition featuring D mint marks. All coins feature the Washington obverse and State-themed reverses. These sets represent the 2002 releases of the 50 State Quarters Program.
