US Mercury Dimes, KM-140. Designer: Adolph A. Weinman. This collection of 30 silver coins includes specimens from the San Francisco (S) and Denver (D) mints. The lot contains early dates including 1917, 1918, and 1919, which are noted as better dates within the series, as well as 1939, 1940, 1941, and 1943. These coins were struck in 90% silver and served as a staple of American currency through the early to mid-20th century.
