While these banknotes do not utilize mint marks like coins, they were produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and feature blue Treasury seals. Catalog attributions include Friedberg 1608, 1614, and 1620. Serial numbers are T 03781710 C, Y 34816112 G, C 55432724 A, and P 02172437 A. Signatures present are Julian-Morgenthau, Priest-Humphrey, and Smith-Dillon. The 1957 A series represents the introduction of the national motto to the reverse design.
