
A lot of US Buffalo nickels, also known as Indian Head nickels, cataloged as KM-134. This group includes specimens with visible dates including 1928, 1929, 1930, 1935, 1936, and 1937. The coins were designed by James Earle Fraser and feature the Indian Head obverse and Bison on Mound reverse. Mint marks for Philadelphia (no mark), Denver (D), and San Francisco (S) are located on the reverse below the denomination. Based on the visible dates and mint marks, no key or semi-key dates are identified in this lot. The coins are struck in a copper-nickel alloy and do not contain silver or gold.
