Círculos concretos (2015) belongs to the mature period of Pedro de Oraá and represents a three-dimensional synthesis of the principles of Concrete Art that defined his career. Constructed through intersecting curved and circular planes, the sculpture generates a dynamic dialogue between solidity and void, stability and movement, activating space as an integral component of the work. The use of color-intense blues punctuated by a circular accent-reinforces the sculpture's formal autonomy and underscores its constructive rigor. Free of figurative reference, the work asserts itself as a self-contained object in which form, rhythm, and spatial balance operate with precision and clarity. Executed in 2015, the sculpture is number 4 from an edition of 7, affirming the sustained relevance of Oraá's concrete vocabulary within the realm of three-dimensional practice. A pioneer of Concrete Art in Cuba, Oraá was a founding member of Los Diez Pintores Concretos, playing a decisive role in the development of geometric abstraction in twentieth-century Cuban art.
