Title: Oil painting Yellow song of summer Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA5068 The oil painting on Cardboard titled "Yellow Song of Summer" bursts with the vibrant spirit of a sunlit countryside day, capturing the glowing essence of sunflowers in full bloom beside a humble village house. This expressive artwork is a celebration of nature's golden hour, a moment when summer seems to sing through color, texture, and radiant warmth. At the center of The painting is a powerful cluster of sunflowers, rendered in thick, confident strokes of golden yellow, deep red, and amber. The artist uses impasto technique to give each petal a sculptural quality, allowing the flowers to lift off the surface in joyful defiance of flatness. These sunflowers don't merely decorate the space; they dominate it with life, pride, and motion, as though swaying in unison to a silent melody carried on the breeze. Their dark, rich centers contrast beautifully with the fiery halos of their petals, while shades of green and teal in the foliage provide a cooling balance to the intense yellows and oranges. Behind this exuberant display stands a simple house with blue-framed windows and a rust-colored roof. The house, painted in cool tones of white, cream, and blue, anchors the composition and offers a quiet, domestic backdrop to the wild energy of the garden. Its roof, textured with sun-baked patches of terracotta, suggests a long history, perhaps generations of summers spent under this very sky. The building exudes a rustic charm, embodying the warmth of home, heritage, and hand-built shelter. Above and around the house, trees stretch skyward with leaves blazing in shades of green, ochre, and russet. Their trunks are painted with earthy reds and browns, blending into the vivid background where sky and land seem to meet in an abstract harmony. The sky itself is a striking turquoise, signaling perhaps early morning or the fleeting moment just before sunset, when the light is unusually saturated and everything seems to glow from within. This landscape is not static. The brushwork flows with an emotional energy that conveys the movement of air, the rustling of leaves, and the buzzing of bees among blossoms. Every stroke contributes to a feeling of immersion, transporting the viewer into this fragrant, sun-drenched world. The rhythm of nature is tangible, and the very atmosphere seems to shimmer with heat and vitality.
